  • Firstly HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I first worked with Danny and his team Smiles at schools photography at a previous setting, I was always very impressed with their patience, the quality of photos and friendliness. When I started my job in another nursery setting I decided to make contact with Smiles at Schools to bring them to my new setting for our photo day and aren’t we glad we did. They worked in a covid safe way to protect our children and staff team, Danny was very accommodating to us and our needs as we wanted to be extra safe and to do this outside but the weather was not on our side. So Danny made it his priority to get all our preschool leavers photographed before the rain and wind came along and then arranged another date with us to get the rest of the children photographed. The team at Smiles at School have such amazing patience with the children which is so important to us here at Kiddi Caru and they will always aim to get a smile from all children even if this is not done in the usual way such as capturing them during play. They will also work around our children’s routine such as sleep times and meal times with no issues.

  • Smiles At School are amazing. From the first point of contact to the last point of contact everything is easy and straightforward to do. Nothing is too much trouble to do. His photos are amazing – we love them.

    He manages to take photos of even the most difficult of children to photograph. Be they upset, unsure… he always manages to get a smile out of them (even those children with the sternest of faces) he somehow manages to crack a smile out of them! We cannot recommend him enough as both a parent and a practitioner. Nothing is ever too much trouble.

  • I know they say ‘never work with kids or animals’, but you manage to not only capture amazing images, but get the children to have fun as you do it.

    Last week Danny visited my son’s nursery to take their yearly photos, and this was the first time Aiden was going to have one done. I warned Danny that he doesn’t like to sit still and he’s quite an energetic kid, but Danny took it all in his stride. He got Aiden’s attention right away and interacted with him in a way appropriate for his age, playing and pulling silly faces to get the best beaming smiles and giggles out of him. Even when he moved around and climbed all over the set, Danny used it as an opportunity to capture Aiden’s personality and gently redirected him to get the angles he wanted.

    When all the shots were done it was just 30 seconds until he had an order sheet and a few proofs to show me, and by the next morning I could log into their portal to see all of the photos he took. There were so many to choose from! The result is an amazing set of photographs that perfectly show off Aiden’s cheeky smile, and I can almost hear him giggling every time I look at them. I absolutely love the photos, and have already put in an order for prints for myself and both sets of grandparents.

    I can’t recommend Danny and the Smiles at School team highly enough, and I can’t wait to get the prints hung up!
